| Thin black coating or soft pencil lines, traditionally regarded as difficult to achieve by offset printing, can be reproduced by lithographic printing.

Alt Studio primarily produces reproductions of works created by other artists. Lithographic and silk screen printing are the printing techniques borrowed to produce these.
"Lithography" is the printing process where ink applied to specific parts on the surface of a plate, originally made of stone but nowadays made of aluminum or zinc with a presensitized coating, is transferred to the impression cylinder and then onto the printing stock.
"Silk screen printing" uses a piece of porous, finely woven fabric called a "mesh" stretched over a frame, which is placed over a substrate such as paper, glass, plastic, or metal. The mesh is then filled with ink and impressed onto the substrate with a slight amount of force and then lifted up to leave an ink impression on the substrate. This printing process is used to create novelty goods, postcards and other products.

When used in post cards, direct mailings and other printed matter, silk screen printing creates impressive products that people will want to keep longer. |

Alt Studio also produces novelty products such as glass jars printed with glow in the dark ink. |
